Acceptance of Booking

The booking is only binding once you have received our written confirmation, and we have received your payment.

How to make a Booking

For us to accept your booking your party leader must read these conditions. The person who signs the booking form does so on behalf of all the members of the party and binds them jointly to these terms and conditions. When you ask us to confirm your booking, we will proceed to confirm your reservation. 

Payment

When making a reservation we require your completed booking form as acceptance of our terms and conditions, and 100% of the total cost of the reservation.

Cancellations  

Amendments by you

We will always do our best to help you with any necessary change of plans.

Cancellations in writing before 60 days of arrival will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations within 59 – 30 days of arrival will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations within 29 days of arrival are not refundable.

Amendments by property owner

In the unlikely event that we must alter your reservation due to circumstances beyond their control, we reserve the right to do so. We will refund the cost of the property rental. We will not be responsible for costs of flights, car hire or any additional services that may have been booked in conjunction with the reservation.

Security Deposit

A refundable security/damage bond of €200 is payable at the time your holiday balance is due. This is held to cover any breakages or damage, including accidental damage, to the property or its contents. Deposits will be returned within 10 working days after your departure date with any deductions notified to you prior to the reimbursement. 

Occupancy

Accommodation is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. The cleaning team needs this time to prepare the accommodation for incoming guests. However, if circumstances permit these times may be varied, but this must be, and can be pre-arranged.

The maximum number of people allowed to use the accommodation at any time is six 6 people and only those listed on the booking form can occupy the property. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation without prior notice and without refund in case of breach of this condition.

Please ensure that when you vacate the property, the accommodation is left clean and tidy and that all personal belongings, food, groceries and rubbish are removed.

Please note that we do not allow group reservations whose average age is less than 28 years, unless prior written authorization is given and the appropriate additional security deposit is paid, which will be determined by the owner.

Reservations from people under eighteen years of age will not be accepted.

Vaping or smoking anywhere within the premises will result in immediate termination of contract and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage or additional cleaning caused by tobacco use will be at your expense.

Pets of any kind are not allowed on the property. The introduction of pets will also lead to the termination of the contract without the right to reimbursement of payments made.

Damage and breakage

Please treat the facilities and accommodation with due care so that other guests can continue to enjoy them. If you notice anything missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so we can take appropriate action. If any damage or breakage has occurred during your stay, we would appreciate it if you could notify us as soon as possible, especially before check-out. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday and you may be charged for any loss or damage.

Cleaning and linen

For long term stays of more than 21 days a change of bedding and towels per person will be delivered to the property for the tenants to change themselves halfway through their stay, leaving all dirty linen and towels for collection.

A mid stay clean with a linen change can be arranged, please contact us for details and pricing. This is to be confirmed at the time of booking.

Property Maintenance/Interruptions

Swimming pools and gardens are maintained regularly. During peak season, twice a week and low season once a week.

Company Liability

The owner cannot be held responsible for any death, injury, accidents, fire, break ins or any other damage by a chance cause.

The owner cannot be held responsible for any cuts to services such as water and electricity.  The owner cannot be held responsible for road conditions leading to the rental property.

Parents are responsible for the safety of their children whilst staying at the property. The owner cannot accept any liability due to parental negligence.

Our maximum liability in any claim will be limited to the cost of your holiday.

Prices

As part of our commitment to quality customer service, we guarantee that there will be no surcharge on the cost of our accommodation. You will always pay the amount confirmed at the time of booking, even if charges increase after booking and before your arrival. This includes all taxes that may be levied by local authorities. However, we reserve the right to vary our prices at any time, without prior notice, so it is advisable to book well in advance to ensure the best possible offer.

Others

Please note that we are not responsible for the availability of specific television channels or in specific languages.

Please do not move any furniture from one room to another.

Please close doors and windows when leaving the property unoccupied.

Please make sure to turn off the lights, heating, air conditioning or

any electrical appliance when you go out.

Please do not bring bath towels to the beach. We can supply beach towels; book in advance.

We reserve the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the customer leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.

Please respect the community and try to keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 11pm and 8am. We reserve the right to cancel a holiday without compensation where the behavior of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) is detrimental to the enjoyment, comfort or health of other residents. Candles are not allowed inside the property.

The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal items or valuables of the guest.

The client may not in any case rent or sublease the property again,not even without cost.

All inventory must remain on the property.

Complaints

All complaints must be reported to the property manager immediately & will be rectified where possible. 

Insurance

All clients should obtain adequate travel insurance cover for the duration of their stay.

Keys

On the day of your arrival, you will be met by the property manager, where you will be shown your accommodation and the keys left in your possession. Guests are responsible for all keys to the property. If keys are lost there will be a replacement charge of 50€. Any call outs due to customer negligence (i.e. loss of keys or locking keys in the house will be subject to an automatic call out fee of 30€).

Laws & Jurisdiction

By booking a holiday stay in Casa Alegre you agree to these terms and conditions of the contract and all matters arising from them and are subject to Spanish law and to the jurisdiction of the Almeria courts.
